Egypt 2004

This gallery is some images from a 7-day Egypt group tour in 2004. The dates were March 7, 2004 through March 14, 2004.

Itinerary included: Cairo, Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo, Temple of Edfu, Temple of Khnum at Esna

I included photos not only of the ancient sites, but also of modern life, both city and rural. Many of the latter type were taken from buses but despite the poor quality of most of these, I think they may be interesting.

The pictures were taken digitally with a Minolta DiMAGE A1 camera. Although it is only 5.2 megapixels, it had a fairly good zoom range, which allowed me to take pictures quickly while staying with the group.
