Rio Grande Valley Birding Trip 2008

This Wimberley Valley Birding Society trip was a two-night trip to the Rio Grande Valley, April 23-25, 2008.

We spent the first night at historic La Borde House in Rio Grande City. After checking in, many of us took a trolley tour of the city.

The next morning we visited Rancho Lomitas. Afterwards we went to Alamo for lunch and afternoon birding was at Frontera Audobon. Accomodations for the night were at Alamo Inn.

The second morning we went to Estero Llano Grande State Park for breakfast with the birds. Lunch at an Italian restaurant was scheduled, but we returned earlier because of obligations.
