The Landscape

The landscape in that area is different from where we live. Mostly the rocks are different. We have light-colored holey limestone and they have a dark rock that often juts up out of the ground. Enchanted Rock State Park is built around the largest of these big rocks. Otherwise, there is a lot of cactus, a lot of oaks, and this time of year a lot of wildflowers!
