Pansy

Here in the Hill Country of Texas, most plants go dormant during the coldest months. Pansies, however, can take the frosts we get. These pansies are in a pot in our courtyard. On a freezing night the flowers get a little limp, but they perk up again when it gets warmer. It's drizzling today and 52 degrees F right now.
