Earthworm? and spider

I don't want to think too much about this one, but I have to have a picture for today! This appears to be an earthworm being consumed by a spider. The earthworm was alive when we first saw it. Inquiring minds want to know how the small spider can eat this earthworm (can't) and how the earthworm got on this window sill in the first place! On second thought, how did it's tail get caught in the web. Was it dropping from the window? It's a very small earthworm - maybe an inch and a half long.
